One of the main requirements is the amount of hours of experience you have before starting your CPL(H) flight training course. Before you bring your skills up to the next level, you need to build up your hours of experience. You can choose to fly each hour by yourself to reach those 150 hours or choose a variety of options to enhance your experience further. This will give you a head start over other pilots, with a lot of experience.
Mountain flying in the Alps
When building up your hours, this is a nice way to introduce you to the mountains. Mountain flying is a whole new level of flying experience with many extra’s to consider during your flying experience. Performances, lower air density, roaring winds, snow covered landscapes, pinacles, turbulences and a lot of other things, all of these have an impact when you fly over the highlands. Fly with your own instructor and together with other students in the Austrian Alps for a great experience.
Robinson safety course
Increase your knowledge and experience by joining the course. A professional and very experienced Robinson helicopter engineer will give the course.
Confined area training
Create confidence in landing offside an airport by attending our confined area course. You will be taught how to touch down in a small space with your helicopter. You will learn about the issues in landing on confined places and the differences to bear in mind. You can use these skills during hour building periods, by landing in your very own backyard for example.
As you increase your skills during your hour building, we would like to introduce you to the turbine helicopters. The bigger operators will usually ask for turbine experience if you are looking for a job as a pilot. We would like to give you a head start by flying 10 hours in one of our turbine helicopters. Together with one of our highly experienced instructors you will fly a turbine helicopter and implement the correct specific procedures that go with it.
